Rose Society of NSW
Established on 15 January 1913
The Rose Society of NSW has operated continuously for over 100 years and aims to encourage, improve, cultivate and extend the cultivation and appreciation of the Rose. Commitment and passion to the Rose are hallmarks of members of the Society today just as they have been throughout the long history of the Society. The Society conducts meetings, shows, demonstrations and other activities across NSW.
Members are able to participate across NSW through the Regional Rose Societies and they are actively encouraged to participate in all aspects of the appreciation of the Rose.
The Regional Societies hold Spring and Autumn shows to promote the Society, give the public the opportunity to view some of the newest and the best cultivars available and to enjoy roses displayed at their very best. The Society also offers rose cultivation advice, rose identification, pruning demonstrations, garden visits, bus tours and other social activities.
The Rose Society of NSW can help you choose the right rose, turn your passion for roses into a lifelong hobby, help you grow the best roses you possibly can and enjoy the company, collaboration and friendship of other rose lovers and enthusiats in your local district, across NSW and other States and Territories in Australia and internationally.
